A home is designed one of two ways: from a floor plan you find, or from a designer’s imagination.  While I love the opportunity to design something completely unique, I understand that most people need to have something to start from.  For that reason, we have lots of floor plans, or we can talk to you about a floor plan you might have too. No matter how you start, the final design is an evolution taking into account your specific wants and needs. At our upcoming event on April 21st, we can talk more about how to make a floor plan just right for you.  Here’s an example of how a typical elevation evolves:1. Our clients loved our “The Old Wildlife” floor plan but had a list of things they also needed incorporated into the plan, including a second ensuite bedroom on the first floor and reduction in the overall square footage.

2. During their Personal Planning Session, I gathered the “pieces of the puzzle” and after evaluating the site, I drew a concept sketch of the front elevation and the first floor plan and emailed them a .PDF to review.

3. There were a few more changes going into the Preliminary Home Planning Solution, during which I drew the home in 3D CAD.  I further reduced the footprint to under 2500 s.f., completed the second floor plan, and added a 3 car garage. Now, they are ready for their Complete Home Planning Solution, which gives them construction drawings and builder bids, just in time for summer building!

The final result is “The Bailey Creek”
and includes these key features:
(2) Main Floor Ensuite Bedrooms
Open Kitchen/Dining/Living

Great Room Cathedral ceilings

(2) Bedrooms, Bathroom and Loft on the Second Floor

Mudroom Breezeway with 3/4 bathroom

Central Laundry

3 Car Garage
